Hey! I'm Chris Guthrie Scott, welcome along...I’m honoured that you are considering hiring me to capture your special day
You’re here because you’re looking for someone to document and capture the real story and goings on between you, your family and guests. I want to help you celebrate your awesomeness and love. I prefer to remain behind the camera, quietly capturing your memories and helping you to enjoy your day as it literally flashes by you - and trust me, it does I’ve done this a LOT. I’m an alternative wedding storyteller, and you are both my central characters*

On your wedding day, I’ll normally arrive for prep shots, capture the wedding ceremony, whizz you both off for some important connection shots, get those embarrassing but hilarious speeches done, and remain for the first few dances…and beyond (especially if you have a cool sparkler exit planned, or a craft beer or gin to hand). After your wedding day, I typically turn around your edited images within 6-8 weeks, including album design.

FAQs
How do we book you?
Get in touch via the contact form and let’s have a chat over a coffee, beer, FaceTime or Skype and find out what works for you both. After that, I’ll send you a wedding photography agreement to look over. When you sign and pay the booking fee, our date is set!
Do you include an engagement shoot with a wedding booking?
Yes, absolutely! I feel it is really important to offer this as part of your full day booking as it gives us all a chance to get to know each other a little better, and it gives you the opportunity to get a feel for how I work on the day and how your couple portraits will go on the day as well.
How many images do we receive?
That depends on whether you’ve booked an engagement shoot, wedding or elopement - for each you’ll receive images that represent your story. Typically this means around 100-150 for an engagement, 650+ for a wedding, and elopements will largely depend on how long you book me for and how detailed the story of your day is.
How do we receive our wedding story?
I use an online gallery and shop called Pic-time to deliver your images. After I’ve finished curating, editing and colouring your images you will receive a private link and password to your gallery, together with a shareable link for friends and family to view. From the shop, you will be able to order professional prints and other products.
When should we expect to receive our wedding story?
You should receive your full story via the online gallery within 6-8 weeks of the date of your event, as is stated in our agreement. Typically, delivery is quicker than this but during busier periods you should expect to wait longer (but normally within the period stated).
Can we order a different album, or parent’s albums as gifts?
Yes, of course! I encourage you to print your story and images and treat them as heirlooms and keepsakes for generations to come. Get in touch with me if you’d like more album options, or would like order additional/parent’s albums and I’ll provide you with a quote.
Are you insured?
Yes - I have full business insurance covering equipment and public liability insurance. If you or your venue require to see this, please get in touch and I will provide a copy of the certificate of insurance.
